Tomorrow we are leaving - for Canada. We have a flight from Oslo to Toronto with Icelandair at 14:45. When living in the Scandinavian countries, this is the most practical airline when traveling to the northern part of America. Only one-two hour stop in Iceland before the final 5-6 hour flight. The total flight time is approx 9-10 hours from Oslo.
Now why do we start our journey in Toronto? Well, I have actually been there, back in the last century (1999) and did find the city very nice. I also find Canadians very nice and open to people from Scandinavia. It is the first time in the the city for my wife so lets hope she feels the same way.

The total travel time by car for this journey is about 31 hour driving (3000 km). Our total time on the trip is 15 days, which is a little bit to short. Anyway, we will use 2-3 days in our main destination.
